Founded in Waukesha, Wisconsin in 1946, Waukesha Bearings opened its Antigo manufacturing facility in May 1972, with a staff of three full-time workers. In 2019, the plant expanded to one hundred,000 sq ft of producing house and now employs 120 folks. The manufacturing space was added to accommodate manufacturing for marine bearing methods and different new tasks awarded to the corporate.
