Waukesha Bearings celebrates plant’s 50th anniversary

Waukesha Bearings is marking 50 years of producing in Antigo, Wisconsin, USA.

Founded in Waukesha, Wisconsin in 1946, Waukesha Bearings opened its Antigo manufacturing facility in May 1972, with a employees of three full-time staff. In 2019, the plant expanded to 100,000 sq ft of producing area and now employs one hundred twenty folks. The manufacturing area was added to accommodate manufacturing for marine bearing systems and other new projects awarded to the company.
“We are pleased with our success and growth to become a provider of precision bearings to a number of the largest multi-national firms from our small-town, Northern Wisconsin location,” stated Mark Greenlund, plant manager.
