Following its announcements of 5 May 2021 updating the New Industrial Strategy proposed in 2020, the European Commission has additional indicated that it will rely quite heavily on industry to deliver on the major challenges confronted by our economies and societies in Europe. This is especially the case in relation to sustainability, digital transformation, and world competitiveness, in addition to the necessity to overcome the crisis provoked by the Covid-19 pandemic. The EU Recovery and Resilience Plan launched in Spring 2021 is essentially building on the capability of European industry to design and produce the constructing blocks of the dual green and digital transition. At the same time, the EU is shaping a dense regulatory framework that doesn’t all the time assist the freedom and adaptability needed for firms to grow and compete globally.
The European know-how industries, and particularly our pumps, compressors, faucets and valves sectors, have for an extended time thought-about the enhancement of their world competitiveness throughout the challenges of societal and environmental challenges, notably by contributing to the preparation of energy efficiency and ecolabel rules. In parallel, digitalisation has offered elevated alternatives and introduced new challenges, including debates on the appropriate regulatory level (sharing of commercial knowledge, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, etc).
These developments, amidst ever more fierce worldwide competition, require that public authorities and business in the EU work increasingly more carefully to design and deploy strategies that reinforce our competitiveness and our contribution to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This will be the subject of the preliminary debate kicking off our Joint EU Policy Conference, which can convey collectively key policy makers from the three EU policy establishments in cost of the Industrial Strategy and three Executives representing and illustrating the achievements loved, and challenges nonetheless faced, by these three key sectors of industry.

It due to this fact falls to sector particular trade organisations, such as Europump, CEIR and Pneurop, to establish and advise on these technical and coverage points most related to their respective sectors. In our specific area, that relates, of course, to the manufacture, distribution and use of pumps and all pump associated tools – an enormous and necessary subset of business, given the width and breadth of pump applications.
Against this backdrop, one of many main concerns when figuring out the core themes for the joint convention was to maintain a direct reference to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs). Within เกจวัดแรงดันco2 , the three associations intend to spotlight how, along with the importance for corporations to handle technical elements impacting their daily business operations, they contemplate the constructive function of trade in addressing societal challenges. Indeed, all the sessions may have a technical theme matching probably the most appropriate UN SDG, and with representation from the European Commission together with technical specialists from business and/or analysis institutes, they’ll each be reflective of the present legislative terrain, as it pertains to pumps and pumping techniques within the following key areas:
Circular Economy & Eco-design (Relevant UN Sustainable Development Goal no. 12: Responsible Consumption and Production)
Industry’s Digital Transformation and Innovation (Relevant UN Sustainable Development Goal no. 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure)
The restriction of use of supplies and substances of concern (Relevant UN Sustainable Development Goal no. 6: Clean Water and Sanitation)
The regulatory and legislative landscape throughout Europe is changing into increasingly complicated, and trade, in all its guises, needs to be conscious and prepared for what’s coming. By engaging with these trade organisations that represent your greatest pursuits, you possibly can hold abreast of all of the compliance developments as they affect your business and the areas during which you operate.
