Private Hospital Association says there might be no refunds due to Moderna delay

There shall be no refunds for people who pre-paid for the Moderna Covid-19 vaccine, despite delivery of the primary batch being delayed by a month. According to a Bangkok Post report, the Private Hospital Association says people who pre-paid can postpone their appointment or transfer it to another person. Dr Chalerm Hanpanich, PHA president, was responding to frustrated netizens, a few of whom are calling for refunds.
“My prospects of about 1 million individuals don’t press for refunds. We’ve made it clear that despite this setback the jabs could be transferred or postponed.”

The PHA had previously introduced that the first supply of 1.9 million doses would arrive this month.
