14 million methamphetamine tablets seized in massive Chiang Rai drug haul

Police in Chiang Mai have arrested 2 males and a lady in the province’s Fang district after they found 14 million methamphetamine pills, aka. “yaba”, in certainly one of their 2 autos. Officers got a tip on Friday that medication would be smuggled into the district and set up road checkpoints, in accordance with the deputy national police spokesman.
At around 12:30am, officers spotted a suspicious pickup truck on the Fang bypass street. They adopted the car to a resort in tambon San Sai. Officers checked with the hotel operator who informed them that a lady had parked the pickup on the lodge and checked in. Priceless went to her room to query her.
The girl, Phitsamon Samaknakhon, advised them she drove the pickup, following one other along the route. 2 men, Suthat Nonthong and Yodrak Klangna, boarded the car and have been staying in other rooms at the similar hotel.
Officers discovered the 2 males inside their rooms and took all three suspects back to the pickup truck. When they opened the rear door of the pickup, they discovered 77 sacks containing 14 million speed drugs inside. The trio have been arrested and charged with possession of illicit medicine with intent to promote. They have been taken to the Fang police station for questioning and urgent charges.
